The twisting machine is suitable for twisting and laminating cotton yarn, cotton, synthetic fibers, embroidery thread, nylon, polyester, artificial silk, sewing thread, real silk, glass fiber, and other twisting and laminating projects.
The feeding method of the twisting machine: feeding the plain tube into the pure twisting frame or cone tube into the combined twisting frame, feeding the combined tube yarn or pagoda yarn (wooden or paper tube), and feeding the pure twisting frame.
The earliest twisting tool: the spinning wheel unearthed from Banpo Site in Xi'an, Shaanxi in 1955, is the earliest twisting tool invented in ancient China. It involves inserting a rod into the small hole in the center of the spinning wheel, using the rotation of the spinning wheel to twist the fibers together, and using the same method to synthesize single strand fibers into multiple strands of stronger "thread".

Each spindle of the upper roller is pressurized by its own weight, and is driven by the collision of the lower rollers. There is a certain winding method for composite yarn on the roller, which ensures that the yarn has a sufficiently long collision arc with the roller, ensuring that the roller delivers the yarn to the twisting area at its uniform speed. On specialized coarse ply or double twist yarn, some use two lower rollers, or even two pairs of rollers, to achieve uniform yarn feeding with high twist tension. In the roller section, some are equipped with automatic stop devices for cutting heads. Some, there is a water tank under the guide rod, which is used to wet twist the yarn before twisting, and it is called a wet twist twisting machine. Wet twisted thread has the advantages of high strength and smooth surface, but anti rust materials need to be used for rollers and yarn guide components.
